Document photo presets
Starting sizes for the named applications, plus a general square size. Applying one only fills in the tool — you still see and control every value before you download.

Guidance for each preset
- IBPS PO/MT-XVI photograph (2026)
- Use a recent colour photo with a light background. A separate live photo is also required by IBPS. These rules apply to PO/MT-XVI, not every exam.
- Indian passport photograph (Wellington guidance)
- Use a photo already cropped to 7:9 with the required face framing and white background. The cited notice verifies dimensions and the maximum size, but does not specify a file format; confirm JPEG with your portal. This is not a visa or OCI preset.
- IBPS PO/MT-XVI signature (2026)
- Sign in black ink on white paper, not in capital letters. Keep the signature clear. These rules apply to PO/MT-XVI, not every application.
- General square size
- Use a square source for a 600 × 600 result. This setting is not verified for a job, passport or visa application.
Applying a preset
"Apply this preset" opens the tool with the width, height, format and quality already filled in, and announces the change to assistive technology. Nothing is applied behind your back: the controls are the final word. Dimensions are a bounding box: aspect ratio is preserved, so the result may be smaller on one side. Start with an image cropped to the required width-to-height ratio if exact dimensions are needed. This tool does not crop, set print DPI, or guarantee a file-size range. Quality values are starting settings, not official requirements. Check the actual downloaded dimensions, file size and visual quality before submitting.
Third-party names appear as plain descriptive text only. We are not affiliated with, and are not endorsed by, any exam board, embassy, government portal or job platform.
Before you submit
- Check the exact minimum and maximum file size on the portal — many reject a file that is correct in pixels but too large in bytes.
- Check the background and headroom rules; resizing does not change what is in the picture.
- Check the accepted format. If a portal insists on JPEG, choose JPEG even if another format looks sharper.
